Frameworks

This collection consists of distressed, deconstructed Polaroid frames emptied of their original pictorial content and scanned at high resolution. Some works are literal enlargements resulting from the de(con)structive process applied to the original Polaroids, while in others the original image is replaced with textural content that incorporates trompe-l’oeil elements and initiates a play between painting and photography.
