Strange Weather
These works dispenses with the conventional camera altogether and achieve their effects by the manipulation of high-resolution photographic scans of minute colour-pencil shavings. These are subjected to turbulence and scattered across the surface of the globe(s) to figure cyclones, typhoons, tropical systems, tornadoes, jetstreams and cold fronts. Wildfires erupt on the surface of the blue planet as the polar vortex collapses.
